Girl talk in the lounge, part 2

Het is weer tijd voor een oplaadmoment met vriendinnen “in the lounge”.  Ik plof met vriendinnen neer in een sofa van Marcel Wanders en bestel een glas prosecco. We laten werk, schoolplein, pannen spaghetti, luizen kammen en de breng- en haalservice even voor wat het is en delen in één avond onze dromen, ambities, twijfel, bewondering en herkenning.

De setting: een mooie hotelbar of lounge in Amsterdam. Call your best friends in the City voor een girl talk in een van de volgende quirky, smaakvolle en fijne hang outs.

Hotel Andaz Prinsengracht

Eerste indruk: : "less is a bore" in deze voormalige Openbare Bibliotheek. Quirky sfeertje (te gekke verlichting in de lounge, een groot videoscherm maar ook tuttige tulpenvaasjes en imitatie ornamenten) en natuurlijk Marcel Wanders design all over the place.

Niet voor de avond maar hele fijne design (blogger) hang out voor koffie met carrot cake (!) of lunch.

 

Tunes Bar en Lounge, Conservatorium Hotel

 

 

 

Cosmopolitan sfeer. De lounge van het Conservatorium Hotel blijft favoriet voor "a drink with the girlzz".

Naast CS en Double Tree Hilton is dit the nieuwe place to be voor een cocktail en kleine bijzondere amuses. Op vrijdagavond met DJ. Voor het restaurant moet je boven zijn, beslist een keertje doen. "Het diner" van Herman Koch zal hier worden gefilmd.
